Last weekend I tried to make croissants. The recipe called for Pastry Flour and All-Purpose Flour, vegetable oil, salt, butter, sugar, and yeast. I followed the instructions to the best of my ability and the dough did not come out at all. I was disappointed, but then again it was my first try. I had my mom entertain me, because the recipe estimated it to take 5 hours to mix, kneed, and bake. After making the dough, two hours in, we put the dough in the fridge and I believe it is still sitting there. I have no intention of using it.
On to the next recipe!
